ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tuesday, FEBRUARY 24th, 2026
NOTICE is
hereby given that the 66th Annual General Meeting of members of the Club and
Company is to be held at the Registered Office, 164 Monaro Street, Queanbeyan,
NSW, 2620, on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 4:30pm.
BUSINESS
1) Minutes
of previous Annual General Meeting.
2) Presentation
of Directors Report and Financial Statements.
3) Declaration
of election of the seven Directors.
4) To
transact any business which may be brought forward in conformity with the
Articles of Association on recommendations made by due notice.
FIRST RESOLUTION
That pursuant to the provisions of the Registered Clubs
Act:
(A)
The
members hereby agree to continue the payment of annual honorariums to the
directors by way of reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the
directors while carrying out their duties as directors of the Club:-
(B)
The
members acknowledge that the benefits in (A) above are not available to members
generally, but only for those who are directors of the Club.
SECOND RESOLUTION
That pursuant to the Registered Clubs Act:-
(A)
The
members hereby agree to the annual expenditure by the members of the Board of
Directors regarding the following matters:-
(i)
Reasonable
expenditure on meals, drinks, accommodation, transport, admission and other
reasonable expenditure with regard to:-
(a)
Attending
meetings of the Board and sub-committees.
(b)
Entertaining
sponsors, business associates, patrons, councilors, members of State and
Federal Parliament, and other dignitaries and guests.
(c)
Attending
meetings, conferences and functions, including community, charity, rugby league
and any other sporting or worthwhile functions at the club or elsewhere, as an
official delegate or representative of the Club including the attendance of
spouses where required or appropriate.
(B)
The
members acknowledge that the benefits in (A) above are not available to members
generally, but only for those who are directors of the Club.
